Taipei Exchange (hereafter TPEx) today announced the new name of its ESG index, which is changed from “TIP TPEx CSR Index” to “TIP TPEx ESG Index”, to better align with the methodology used by index.

“TIP TPEx ESG Index” (Code: IX0134) is compiled by TPEx and Taiwan Index Plus, along with the Business Council for Sustainable Development of Taiwan to reflect the performance of listed companies with good ESG performance in TPEx market.

The top 10 companies listed on the index for the latest review are GlobalWafers (6488), WIN SEMICONDUCTOR (3105), Sino-American Silicon (5483), Phison (8299), Vanguard International Semiconductor (5347), E INK (8069), Advanced Ceramic X Corporation (3152), TCI (8436), WAFER WORKS CORPORATION (6182), and LandMark Optoelectronics Corporation (3081).

The“TIP TPEx ESG Index” could play a significant role both in improving the performance of the TPEx-listed companies on the ESG issue and attracting investors to pay attention to ESG investment, which powers a virtuous circle of ESG development.
