Malaysian entrepreneurs visited TPEx on November 13th

To encourage foreign companies to list on TPEx, TPEx has visited several countries of south east Asia region in recent years and successfully introduced the advantages of Taiwan capital market to local entrepreneurs. At the invitation of KPMG, president of Penang parliament Law Choo Kiang and ten Malaysian entrepreneurs visited TPEx on November 13th.

Comparing to Bursa Malaysia, high P/E ratio, high trading value turnover rate, flexible fundraising ways and transparent examination process of TPEx attracted Malaysian entrepreneurs’ attention and they further revealed high willingness to list the stocks of their companies on TPEx. In addition, the Malaysian enterprises are from diverse industries, including furniture, food, human service management, electronic components and retail. Furthermore, several enterprises have sought for the advisory service of CPA and prepared for listing application.

To attract foreign outstanding companies to list on TPEx and expand the capital market in Taiwan, TPEx has visited Thailand, Vietnam, China, Singapore and Malaysia this year. Currently, 14 of 35 TPEx primary listed companies mainly operate in Southeast Asia region. The visit of Malaysian entrepreneurs this time strengthened the relationship between Southeast Asia businesses and the TPEx.
