Taipei Exchange hold a Board and Supervisor Joint Meeting on May 20th, 2022. The meeting approved the following items:
1. In order to improve the management of the personnel who handle the OTC derivatives business, TPEx added Article 54-1 of “Taipei Exchange Rules Governing the Operation of Leverage Contract Trading Business by Leverage Transaction Merchants” and Article 55-1 of “ Taipei Exchange Regulations Governing Over-the-Counter Trading of Financial Derivatives by Securities Firms”.
2. To comply with the promotion schedule of “Corporate Governance 3.0” issued by FSC that listed company shall appoint corporate governance officer, and to meet the requirement of listing examination practice, TPEx amended “Taipei Exchange Rules Governing the Review of Securities for Trading on the TPEx”, “Standards for Determining Unsuitability for TPEx Listing under Article 10, Paragraph 1 of the Taipei Exchange Rules Governing the Review of Securities for Trading on the TPEx” and “Taipei Exchange Rules Governing the Review of Foreign Securities for Trading on the TPEx”.
